These terms form a binding agreement between you and Kai-Zen Island Coaching LLC (Kay Een LLC), a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Hawaiʻi.
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase or use The In-Between Insight tool or engage in coaching services. If you are under 18, you may only access this site with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, and you may not purchase services without their participation.
These services are intended for individuals in a stable mental health baseline who are navigating professional identity transitions. They are not appropriate for individuals currently experiencing acute mental health crises, active suicidal ideation, or symptoms requiring clinical intervention. If that describes where you are right now, please reach out to a licensed mental health professional before proceeding.
Coaching is not therapy, counseling, or mental health treatment. Kay Een is not a licensed therapist, psychologist, counselor, or medical provider. Nothing in these services constitutes a clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment plan, or medical advice of any kind. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, thoughts of self-harm, or symptoms of PTSD or depression, please contact a licensed mental health professional or call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) before using this site or tool.
Kai-Zen Island Coaching LLC offers the following services:
Coaching is client-led and facilitative. It helps you access what you already know. It does not prescribe decisions, provide career placement, offer legal or financial advice, or function as therapy. Kay Een holds an ICF-ACC credential issued by the International Coaching Federation and operates under the ICF Code of Ethics.
The In-Between Insight tool generates your coaching brief using an artificial intelligence language model. The brief is a coaching reflection framework. It is not authored personally by Kay Een, is not a clinical assessment, and does not constitute professional advice of any kind.
Kay Een reviews your brief before your coaching conversation. The AI output is a starting point for that conversation, not a conclusion. How your data is handled in this process is described in the Privacy Policy.
Coaching outcomes depend on many factors, including your engagement, life circumstances, and the nature of your transition. Kai-Zen Island Coaching LLC makes no representations or warranties that coaching will produce any specific result, including but not limited to career placement, income change, or resolution of personal challenges. Your purchase of any service does not guarantee any particular outcome.
The In-Between Insight tool ($67). Because the tool delivers an AI-generated coaching brief immediately upon completion, all sales are final once the brief has been generated and delivered. If you experience a technical failure that prevents delivery of your brief, contact kay@kai-zenislandcoaching.com within 7 days and we will resolve the issue or issue a full refund at our discretion.
Individual coaching sessions. Sessions cancelled with at least 24 hours notice will be rescheduled at no charge. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be forfeited.
Coaching packages (3-session and 6-session). If you cancel a package before any sessions have occurred, you will receive a full refund. If sessions have begun, a prorated refund for unused sessions will be issued, less a $25 administrative fee. No refund is available after all sessions in a package have been completed.
All refund requests must be submitted in writing to kay@kai-zenislandcoaching.com.
All content on this site, including the tool design, intake questions, coaching framework, written content, and brand materials, is the property of Kai-Zen Island Coaching LLC and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any site content without written permission.
Your responses to the intake tool remain yours. Kai-Zen Island Coaching LLC does not claim ownership over content you provide.
By using this site or purchasing any service, you consent to receiving electronic communications from Kai-Zen Island Coaching LLC, including your coaching brief by email, booking confirmations, and service-related updates. These communications are transactional and not marketing. You may request removal from any non-transactional communications at any time by emailing kay@kai-zenislandcoaching.com.
This site uses third-party providers for hosting, payment, AI brief generation, email delivery, and appointment scheduling. Kai-Zen Island Coaching LLC is not responsible for the practices, availability, or failures of these providers. For the full list and what data each receives, see the Privacy Policy.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, KAI-ZEN ISLAND COACHING LLC, ITS OWNER, AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THIS SITE, THE IN-BETWEEN INSIGHT TOOL, OR ANY COACHING SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF INCOME, LOSS OF DATA, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, OR DECISIONS MADE IN RELIANCE ON COACHING CONTENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF KAI-ZEN ISLAND COACHING LLC TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THAT CLAIM.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. If those laws apply to you, some of the above limitations may not apply.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kai-Zen Island Coaching LLC and its owner from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of this site or services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or the rights of another party.
Kay Een holds confidentiality as a core professional obligation under the ICF Code of Ethics. What you share in coaching conversations will not be disclosed to third parties without your written consent, except as required by law or to prevent serious harm to you or others.
These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Hawaiʻi, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will first be submitted to good-faith mediation. If mediation does not resolve the dispute within 60 days, either party may pursue legal action in the appropriate courts of the State of Hawaiʻi.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in cases of intellectual property infringement or breach of confidentiality.
Kai-Zen Island Coaching LLC may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in an updated effective date above. Continued use of this site or its services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
